Barcelona ace Xavi admits he came close to joining AC Milan early in his career.
And the midfielder says he now hopes to play out his entire career at the Nou Camp.
There was a time when I had a very important offer from Milan when I was 18 and it was actually Barca which decided that I had to stay,” said Xavi. "I wanted to win here and I am very happy I chose to stay with Barcelona."
Asked about ever joining Real Madrid, he added: "I like Barca and would not be happy at Real Madrid."
