Rio Ferdinand chased away Roberto Mancini from his restaurant!

Blues are not allowed to enter Reds territories. Not even the manager of Manchester City! Well, I guess Rio Ferdinand doesn't want Roberto Mancini to affect his mood ahead of their meeting in League Cup semi- final.

The Italian was turned away from the restaurant owned by Reds star Rio Ferdinand and had to tuck into a £6.99 meal at the Bella Italia chain instead.

Roberto, who earns £3million a year, tried to take his backroom team for some posh Italian food at Rio's Rosso last week. But sadly he forgot to reserve a table and obviously realised this was Manchester's only restaurant where the "Don't you know who I am" line wouldn't work.

A source said: "The only place he could get near his desired fettucini was the £6.99 special at Bella Italia."

As a Manchester United diehard fan, I love to see that happening, though I have a lot of respect for Roberto Mancini.

Walcott's girlfriend rejected her 21st birthday present- £140,000 Ferrari

Theo Walcott's girlfriend Melanie Slade has rejected the £140,000 Ferrari he bought for her 21st birthday.

Student Mel says the 193mph California, with personalised plates, is "too flash" to drive at university. She thought it was a waste of money.

She told pals she wished the Walcott was less showy with his cash and thinks the blinging motor is "vulgar". Blonde Mel prefers to drive the modest white £20,000 VW Beetle he bought her three years ago.

Theo, 20, who has struggled with injury, now drives the supercar instead.

Theo, who earns £60,000 a week, is thought to be paying annual insurance of more than £20,000 for the Italian dream car, which he bought in November.

Mel doesn't want the WAG lifestyle. She was embarrassed her uni mates knew she had a car worth so much when some students struggle to have enough money to eat.

Debate over the exact age of Crystal Palace wonderkid- Victor Moses

Speculation about the exact age of Victor Moses, who is registered as a 19-year-old, might hamper Palace’s hopes of realising their £5million valuation.

This wonderkid has been courted by several European giant clubs, Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Wigan, West Brom and Nottingham Forest and
even Real Madrid and Barcelona!

Moses has a British passport, having lived in the UK since he was 11. But the tragic circumstance in which he arrived in this country from war-torn Nigeria as a traumatised orphan, having seen both his parents shot dead in a sectarian killing spree in
Kaduna, means there is little documentation of his early years.

Palace manager Neil Warnock blames himself for the escalating talk that estimates Moses’s age between 19 and 23.

Warnock said: ‘I’m always joking with him that he looks a lot older than 19 — but that’s the age on his passport.’

Moses’s agent Tony Finnigan, who accompanied the player when he returned to Nigeria last summer, said: ‘His age is his age and if it’s questioned, then you have to question the age of many other foreign footballers playing here.’

Life can be something of a lottery when it comes to the ageing process. Some individuals are blessed with youthful vigour and baby-faced looks late into life. Others, who are yet to even reach their thirties, can be mistaken for someone 10 or 20 years their senior.

So, who can Moses blames since he's born with this mature looks. Moses's case is definitely nothing if compared to other footballers who are often mistaken to be old.

Top of my list is none other than Lyon's Jeremy Toulalan. At 26 years old, this defensive midfield is famed for his grey hair and for his talents as well.

Next comes Obafemi Martins of Wolfsburg. Also aged 26, but didn't looks like one. Look at pictures below, he definitely looks like a granddad!

Teddy Sheringham enjoying with JUNIOR girlfriend

Age has never been a hurdle to former England footballer Teddy Sheringham. Can you imagine him dating a hot chick 20 years his junior, which put the lovely lady only two years older than his son.

Sheringham enjoyed a New Year sunshine
break in Mauritius with stunning Kristina Andriotis. This is definitely not shocking since he has has dated a string of younger women over the years, including Katie Price (right) and Danielle Lloyd (left), looks to be getting serious with his latest catch though.

This confirmed one thing>>>Sheringham loves younger woman!

Kristina, a former model, is understood to have moved in with the sportsman last summer. It begs the question whether Sheringham, father to 21-year-old Bishop's Stortford striker Charlie, could have been tamed from his womanising ways.

Kristian showed off her leggy figure as she stood up to tied her hair before the couple headed to the swimming pool and on their return Sheringham planted a kiss on her forehead as they shared a tender moment.

It's not he first time Sheringham and Kristina have been spotted together, as she used to be a regular on the party circuit. However, it seems the popular goalscorer couldn't get enough of a good thing and has opted out of life in the fast lane.

January Transfer Window Guide on Every BPL clubs

Sir Alex Ferguson has kicked off the January transfer-window action by bidding for Benfica winger Angel Di Maria.

Ferguson has reacted to Manchester United's stuttering defence of their title by offering £9million plus Nani for the 21-year-old Argentina international. The United manager witnessed Di Maria's scintillating form at first hand when he was at Goodison Park for the second leg of Benfica's Europa League rout of Everton recently.

The move for Di Maria doesn't end Fergie's interest in a defender or left-sided midfielder but he would prefer to delay further recruitment until the summer. And he is not alone.

The main focus is on Chelsea. Transfer embargo permitting, they are the main attraction. Being based in London, top of the league and blessed with a rich benefactor will appeal to the twinkling toes of Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero and the brawn of Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko.

For Manchester City, transition is not as attractive to the world's elite stars as being an established Champions League contender. Roberto Mancini will certainly be a draw but defensive recruits could be where he has greatest success.
