Eight global wonderkids Barcelona will follow in 2011

Barcelona chiefs have identified eight young strikers playing around the world to follow in 2011.

While they have high hopes for Rafa Alcantara, that hasn't prevented Barca from identifying potential future striker signings.

Those under consideration, according to Sport, are:

Vitolo (Las Palmas)

The striker is also followed by Real Madrid and rated at €5 million.

Ricky van Wolfswinkel (Utrecht)

Tipped to be the next big thing in Holland and rumoured to have already been the subject of a bid from Liverpool.

Jesse Rodriguez (Real Madrid)
This 17 year-old is regarded among Real's brightest young players. Known for his pace and ability on the ball.

Saul Niguez (Atletico Madrid)
Now 16, Saul came through the junior ranks at Real Madrid. Has been with Atletico for the past three seasons.

Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)
Quickly gaining a big reputation across Europe. Has broken into Jose Mourinho's first team this season.

Romelu Lukaku (Anderlecht)

The hottest young striker in Europe. Real Madrid and Chelsea are favourites for his signature at the end of the season.

Paco Alcacer (Valencia)

A Spain U17 international, Alcacer has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea this season.

Alvaro Vazquez (Espanyol)
Now 19, Vazquez has been a revelation this season after forcing his way into coach Mauricio Pochettino's plans.

Mario Balotelli has been snubbing delicacies, preferring to hang out in Italian restaurant.

Manchester City star Mario Balotelli isn't too keen on his local grub.

The Italian striker has been snubbing delicacies such as chips and gravy in favour of more familiar cuisine.

He has become a regular customer at Italian restaurant San Carlo in the city centre.

Mario eats there so regularly he has even been given his own dedicated table.

A source said: "Mario pops in practically every night.

"He brings his mates along with him for a meal whenever they are over from Italy and he also comes in on his own a lot.

"The waiters love him and he is always good fun when he pops down.

"They are even helping him to improve his English - he's their favourite guest."

Barcelona, Real Madrid tracking Borussia Dortmund sensation Shinji Kagawa

Barcelona are tracking Borussia Dortmund striker Shinji Kagawa.

Snapped up for just €350,000, Kagawa is now regarded among Germany's hottest transfer properties after a stellar season with Dortmund.

No less than five Spanish Liga clubs are following the Japan international, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have already made contact with Dortmund to register their interest, while Valencia and Sevilla have also had scouts to check on Kagawa this season.

Yulia Voronin makes a splash in a WAG-tastic leopard-print bikini

Since their move to Russia, Andriy Voronin and wife Yulia's UK fans have been deprived of their entertaining taste in fashion.

The Moscow residents are taking full advantage of the sunshine and surf during their Florida holiday.

Yulia, 27, lapped up the party atmosphere on Miami Beach in a typically flashy leopard-print and turquoise bikini with gold hoop earrings and aviator sunglasses.

The couple moved from Liverpool at the start of the year when 31-year-old Andriy transferred to Dynamo Moscow.

They are on their annual trip to the luxurious Fountainbleu Resort in Florida, and this time brought along some friends.

Andriy and Yulia were joined by Andriy's teammate Denis Kolodin and his girlfriend, while another Dynamo Moscow player, Anton Shunin, stayed at a nearby hotel.

The group sipped strawberry daiquiris and Moet champagne as they stretched out on sun loungers, and danced to music in the sunshine.

Yulia appears to have lost some weight since their holiday over New Year's, looking more toned and trim.

The couple quickly became paparazzi favourites when they moved to the UK in 2007, making headlines with their outlandish fashion sense.

Yulia was quickly tagged the 'world's worst dress WAG,' for her taste in shell suits and head-to-toe leopard print velour.

They have all but disappeared from the scene since Andriy left Liverpool FC in January, making a new group of friends in Moscow.

 

Perhaps Yulia was happy to leave our shores, after lashing out at the British press for chastising her dress sense.

She said: 'The British press criticised me for a bad taste in clothes. It's just laughable.

'The Brits are horrendously conservative. Of all the colours, they like only black and grey.

Gary Lineker continues his 50th celebrations with his bikini-clad wife Danielle in the Caribbean

Less than two weeks after turning the big 5-0, Gary Lineker is continuing the celebrations in Barbados.

The Match Of The Day host is looking, and no doubt feeling, much younger than his 50 years thanks to his young wife Danielle.

Sun-filled beach aside, the Welsh model was giving her husband and fellow beachgoers plenty to gaze at in a series of skimpy bikinis.

The mother-of-one, 31, showed off her stunning figure in a black and white two-piece and a red bikini as she frolicked with her husband on the beach.

The couple, who have been married for a year, were joined on the pre-Christmas break by their five children from previous relationships.

Gary has four sons George, Harry, Tobias, and Angus from his first marriage to Michelle, while Danielle is mother to eight-year-old Ella from her six-year relationship with former Coventry City footballer Adam Willis.

The Linekers are frequent visitors to Barbados, with Gary owning a holiday home on the island for several years.

Although they frequently holidayed there in their first two years as a couple, they haven't visited the island as much in 2010 due to Gary's busy schedule with the World Cup.

The family holiday comes after they celebrated Gary's 50th birthday with a late night out in London with eldest son George.

Mrs Lineker hit the headlines when she nearly spilled out of her Vivienne Westwood dress as she was photographed leaving the Funky Buddha nightclub in Mayfair.

On reflection, the model claimed she had no idea the dress was 'that booby'.

She told the Mirror: 'But it was Gary’s 50th and he loved it.

He's one of the world's richest men with a host of businesses to look after.

But billionaire Roman Abramovich kicked off his Christmas holidays early this week as he whisked his girlfriend and baby son off to the Caribbean.

The Chelsea F.C. owner, 44, and Dasha Zhukova, 29, were spotted soaking up the sun on a beach in St Barts.

While Roman enjoyed a dip in the sea, brunette beauty Zhukova kept her bikini body covered up in a vest and denim shorts as she played with their son Aaron in the water.

Later on the couple left their son in the care of a nanny as they enjoyed a shopping trip in the expensive boutiques nearby.

The couple's trip to the Caribbean comes after Aaron's first birthday on December 4.

Ambramovich is a regular visitor to the island of St Barts and bought a £54million retreat on the island last year.

Last year, he hosted a spectacular New Year's Eve party at his home, with guests including Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr.

The obligarch spent a reported £3.5million on the party with Gwen Stefani, Beyonce Knowles and Prince providing the entertainment.

Aaron is the sixth child of Chelsea FC owner, who has five children with ex-wife Irina.

Meanwhile, Ambramovich is currently awaiting delivery of his new £329million super yacht, entitled My Eclipse - rumoured to be the world's largest private yacht.

My Eclipse is said to still be in the Hamburg shipyard following several set backs.

Landon Donovan files for divorce from his wife of three years

The couple have been separated for more than a year but US soccer player Landon Donovan has finally made the split official.

The LA Galaxy captain filed divorce papers today with the Los Angeles court seeking to end his three year marriage to Rules Of Engagement actress Bianca Kajlich, 33.

Although it appeared earlier this year as if the couple had reconciled, 28-year-old Donovan cited irreconcilable differences as his reason for the split in the documents.

In a joint statement the couple said: 'We remain the closest of friends and will always be important parts of each other's lives.'

The pair wed on New Years Eve in 2006 but separated in October 2009 according to the papers filed with the court.

It appeared the couple were reconciling after the World Cup when they were spotted attending several events together.

The pair also weathered a cheating scandal after a rumours circulated that Donovan had fathered a love child in the UK whilst he was there playing on loan for Everton.

The rumours turned out to be untrue with Donovan telling E! Online at the time: 'I will not be a Dad any time soon, which is good news for me.'

The star, who was the top goal scored for the US team during the world cup, plays for the LA Galaxy club team alongside David Beckham.

The team are currently in the off-season but return to pre-season training in the New Year.
